Training in Jadason

I have just finished 3-day training organised by Jadason Technology Ltd in Admiralty. I have spent at least 8 hours a day to practice. It was SO EXHAUSTED. As I have mentioned in the last post that I need to drink "RED BULL" to power up myself.

















I arrived at Admiralty an hour earlier that I supposed to be. I walked around in Pacific Place and look for McDonald(becasue I wanted to have a hot cake breakfast there, but NO MORE McDonald's in Pacific Place now). I saw an interesting decorations there and took this series of pictures.

This picture I took during the lunch. We went to a Chinese restaurant in Wan Chai for last 2 days. I took this picture because it was SO FUN. HOW FUN??? When we have just sat down, every waitresses came to us and put all the food on our tables. Our tables then are FULL OF FOOD within 5 minutes. We even haven't eaten anything yet, the waitress has already asked us to take some Chinese desserts too. IT'S SO UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

I met one guy in PolyU in this training workshop. During today's lunch, we were talking the department and professor that I was studying in CityU. He did ask me about my industrial experience. Actually, I've only got NOT MORE THAN 1 year industrial experience. My colleague then told him I prefer to participate the competition instead. That's TRUE!!! I love to make my own animation to enhance my animation or technical skills. Then that PolyU guy then guessed, "Did you make an animation that XX(he couldn't tell what it exactly is) is climbing?". I replied "YES!!, But how did you know that??". I was DEEPY appreciative of his recall. I didn't give him any clues. He simply guessed a right one that I have made 5 years ago. I didn't believe someone still remembered my work. That's actually my final year project of my undergraduate study.

Now, I want to make a new animatin again. A fire is burning in my heart again.

Red Bull gives you wings!

I went to bed at 4:30am this morning and woke up at 8am. I have slept for 4 hours ONLY, so I was extremely TIRED and couldn't concentrate.
Today, I start a professional rendering training from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm(The class was overrun today >_<) until this Thursday. I totally couldn't focus on what the trainer said. I almost fell asleep in the class several times too. At the meanwhile, I was HUNGRY because I had no time to have my breakfast this morning.

I then went to buy a "RED BULL" in 7-11 during the lunch break. This is the 2nd time I drink "Red Bull". I NEED it to help me to focus. HOWEVER, I still yawned 30 minutes later.....

我今日跟父母喝過中午茶之後，回家歇一歇便又出門了．
到了哪？最近這一個月我時常去的地方，便是大埔”比華利山別墅”的旁邊－－三門仔．我跟男朋友去了玩wakeboard，因為他其中一個”練習場”便是這裡啦！不過，今日我們只是”陪坐”，並沒有落水．
明天，７月８日是Billabong Asian Wakeboarding Championships，跟我們同船的一部份人則為明天的比賽作練習．我這個門外漢當然看得目瞪口呆啦，太厲害了！

最後，預祝我男朋友明天順順利利，結果是怎樣也不要緊，”最緊要好玩”！！！

I went to wakeboarding again. But, it's NOT right! I acutally didn't get into the water. I only sat on the boat and watched other people to practice. It's STILL very FUN anyway.
It was REALLY HOT today, 34oC. But, there is a strong wind on the boat, so I wasn't BURNT(or MELTED) by the SUN!!!

Hong Kong 1-day trip

星期四，我跟朋友到了西貢的銀線灣，乘８０號巴士到鑽石山地鐵站，再轉乘９１．到坑口道下車也只是用了不少於２０分鐘，沿著銀線灣路一直走，十分熱，走到一個細小的停車場，看似是一個dead end，好奇怪，碰著我倆不會怎樣走的人，只好向旁邊住宅停車場的更亭問路，才發現剛才經過的小型停車場旁邊有一道綠色樓梯，那正是要通往銀線灣．
長長的樓梯．．．．究竟通往哪裡呢？
原來是一個超級迷你小沙灘，海水跟磚牆的距離，只有１個人的長度左右，亦只有一個救生員，可以想像這個沙灘多麼小，其實從樓梯上步行下去的時候，已發現防鯊網的範圍十分小．．．
我便提議改到清水灣，唉，最痛苦的還是那極長的樓梯，烈日當空下，又要爬上它．．．GOD
I went to Silverstrand Beach in Sai Kung yesterday. But it actually is a VERY TINY beach. SO my friend and I took a light bus to Clear Water Beach.












之後，我們只好乘小巴（其實也可以坐巴士）到附近的清水灘二灘．
清水灘二灘相比起來，確實比銀線灣大多了，但比我端午節到愉景灣的大白灣小．
我為了消暑（大部份的時間也是在水中），不時走到海邊玩水，避浪，因為我其實站在水及膝的位置，有時候會有大浪湧上來，整條褲也濕透，幸好我穿了Boardshorts，但我最擔心的並不是濕透的褲，而是我怕浪大得過份，令我整個人掉落水，因為我身上還拿著電話和digital camera．
I ate a orange popsicle and mango ice-cream at about 1pm. At almost 2pm, the wind became strong and cloudy. Suddenly, it rained very HARD~~~ There was an annoucement that suggested ALL the swmimers to get out from the water because of the thunderstorm warning. We all got WET because of this rain!!!!!!!!! We went to changing room and wanted to leave. HOWEVER, it's SUNNY again when we were coming out from the changing room......












We then took bus 91 back to Choi Hung MTR Station. We went to MegaBox in Kowloon Bay afterwards. It's really BIG, but still under renovation. I went to B&Q and Spotlight too!!!!!!!! These are the two stores that I really want to go.

I then took a taxi to Kwun Tong (close to my working place)!!!!! BUT, actually I spent MOST of the cash in my purse.... THANKS GOD, I spent about $26 from MegaBox to Kwun Tong Magistracy. But, I have ONLY got $33 total in my purse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Later, I went to Tuen Mun. This is the 3rd time that I have been in there... I have never taken the light rail too.... I really wanted to try yesterday. However, I have spent an hour to shop in one boutique. I then spent one more hour in Jusco... ^_^ hehe

I bought 2 cans of "Tetley" beer for my father. My father loves to drink beer, but my mom don't allow my father to drink frequently. I have tried "Tetley" once. I think it tastes GOOD too (I prefer to drink white wine, red wine or cocktails

Wedding ROUND 2

Congratulations !!!!!
My secondary schoolmate got married today!!!!!!!! Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos with him... because my parents borrowed my digital camera for their mainland trip during this LONG WEEKEND holidays. My secondary schoolmate, the bridegroom, was extremely ~NERVOUS~ today. He accidently mis-pronounced the name of his wife in his wedding vow. That made everyone in the church LAUGH!!!!

After the wedding, my friends and I went to xPlus in Harbour City. This is the ceiling. I took a picture of it because it's SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!

My friend's going to GET MARRIED next April. She asked me and one more friend to accompany her to set hair and wear the make-up for wedding banquet. Here are two pictures that I took in the shop. The left one that I took was during the make-up artist to set her hair. The right one was the finished one with red accessories on top.

Grad Show last DAY: film premiere

Yesterday's the last day of our Graduation Show in HKCEC. The last event was a film preimere. I didn't notice there was a red carpet or not. However, some renowned directors, designers and actor(Eric Kot) joined our joyful party. I did bring a digital camera with me yesterday, but I didn't take the photo with him.

These are the pictures taken during the Fashion Show today. The models are so professional and pretty(but some are not, hehe!). This is the first time that I see a real fashion show. I don't remember why I didn't watch it last year in Graduation Show.

端午這一天，我幹了一件作為中國人最傳統的事，那便是欣賞龍舟賽事。本應並不是甚麼新奇的事，因為我住在大圍，正正適合走到街上看，但我去的地方偏偏不是城門河，而是大嶼山的愉景灣，因為與我同行的朋友從未去過，所以值得利用這個假期去逛逛（其實很多香港人都未到過愉景灣，嘻嘻）。

我拍這張照片,因為上面寫的「名店倉 有男裝」,實在太奇怪，雖說購物是女性的專利，所以為了要吸引男顧客，作了這一句非常差的標語。

我們走到大白灣看龍舟, 但因為太熱, 和熱騰騰的沙都跑進我的鞋時, 逼我要把鞋脫掉, 然後到沙灘淺水的地方澗水, 這樣, 才稍為降溫.

沙灘穿著整齊,色彩較鮮艷的必然是參賽倢隊伍, 其他的都是圍觀的市民, 大白灣雖小, 但人的數目亦不少呢!!

四周也擠滿人,連廣場內的所有的食肆也不例外,走到不同的地方也找不到空位,但又不想在炎炎夏日的天氣買外賣,我們當然希望找到一個室內,有冷氣的餐廳吃飯. 最後我們到了一間名"海灣餐廳"的門口,餐廳設於二樓,門外亦沒有擺放著餐牌,只好爬上樓梯看看.從門下上一塊小玻璃,我居然看見一隻隻掛起的燒味,而且看見一些吧枱的位置還有部份是空著,便匆匆推門而入.
這個便是我同行朋友叫的"海南雞飯",而我的則是"焗豬扖飯.".

我跟同行朋友的合照。
吃過午餐，便走到外面的小露台乘涼。有一張兩座位的沙發，小茶几及太陽傘，這張照片便是那個時候拍的，用的當然是自拍加連拍。











這便是我趁著乘涼的時候拍，很舒服的環境，對不？遠眺看見的就是白沙灣，龍舟賽正在那裡進行中，左邊的是一間酒吧，我朋友開玩笑地說來個啤酒（當然那時候沒有，不過，之後便有了，哈哈），確實寫意。



這個女孩下午才到達愉景灣，我們又走到沙灘，並突然被拍了這張照片。











龍舟賽事到了下午兩時半左右便結束，比公佈的時間早了兩小時，之後我們到這間休息休息。

Hand Shakes shakes

我今天到了大埔的三門仔，而且同行的還有一些wakeboarding的愛好者，對於我這個從未試過的門外漢而言，增加不少的信心和安心。
我只玩過幾遍，現在我的雙手仍在震，晚上擠牙膏的時候已經有點吃力。更不用說今天回到學校，連開門也有困難，因為我office的房門有密碼鎖，按完密碼之後，本該用拇指跟食指抓著門鎖，及另一隻手按著門柄打開（所以每一次開門必定要雙手並用）。但今日真的連開門的力都沒有，即使沒有wake，平時也要用點力，始於它也是門。
雖然辛苦，但最終都可以起水幾秒，對於我這個亳無運動細胞的人而言（我的中學同學便最清楚了），已經十分滿足了。上了水面只有幾秒，又被拉至掉進水裡，嗆到幾口海水，每一次再試之前，也會有人教我怎樣再做得好一點，我完全理解亦知道要怎樣做，但偏偏現實就做不了，因為全部我也忘記得一乾二淨 ：Ｐ
I tried wakeboarding today (with some professionals. Of course, I'm the very first beginner!!!). This is FUN and EXCITED, but my hands are still sss~~ hh~~~~aaa~~~k~ee~iii~~~~nnnn~~gg~~shaking~~~~~~~~ now~~~~ My hands seems to DISCONNECT with my body. I can't imagine what I will feel tomorrow. I may not do anything because I'm now handicapped. (I have put on the "pain relieving spray" already...)
Anyway, it's happy to have my first try today! I could get out from the water for several SECONDS!!! It's several seconds ONLY!! But it's enough to me now. I totally understood what the professional taught me today... about how to hold handgrip, about how to stand up on the board and about how to balance my body with my legs, etc. Unfortunately, I totally forgot it when I was in the water. Sigh.... let me FOCUS MORE next time~~ hehe, I think I may have the second try~~~

My Little Niece

相片中便我可愛的小姪女「愷澄」,乳名「澄澄」。她現在四個月零兩日大。今日正是父親節，所以Wake完之後便到我哥家吃蛋糕和一家人吃飯（但每次我大哥都不在... 激死）。
我這個不定期出現的姑姐，不知道澄澄有沒有忘記我呢？（心痛）我每一次探望澄澄，必定會嚷著要抱她，但澄澄剛出世的一個月內，我完全不敢抱她，因為她全身軟綿綿的，我怕會弄傷她，但最怕的還是要是抱得不好，從我手中掉下來的時候怎麼辦。

My little niece, Hoi-ching, is now 4 months and 2 days old. I went to my brother's house to celebrate "Father's Day" today.

My mom took over 10 pictures for me and Hoi-ching. HOWEVER, this is the ONLY ONE which is LESS out of focus. I kept asking my mom how's the picture after each shoot. My mom said it's ok. She said she could see my face from the LCD monitor... But I know my mom very well. I randomly picked up one photo to preview and found out that is out of focus in fact. My mom said it's clear because she could see my face there. Actually my mom can't distinguish between out of focus and in of focus in that little digital camera monitor.
But, that's ok. At least, I've got ONE here. Hehe.

Voodoo 巫毒娃娃

巫毒娃娃！我今晚收到兩隻非常可愛的巫毒娃娃，我偏偏揀了兩隻同是白色的魔鬼（現在已跟照片中的不一樣了，嘻嘻），本應是一黑一紅的（翼的部份），但事後卻被人交換了。不過仍可以是一對的，因為換回來的亦是一隻魔鬼，紅色身軀加上黑色的翼，無所謂。

They are both little DEVILs!!!
Actually I should have two white devils, but one with red wings and the other one with black wings... BUT, someone STOLE it from me. haha. Actually, he exchanged one with me only. So, I'm now have one with the red body.

Non-smoking area

There was an interesting thing last week. I went to have lunch with my colleague, one friend and one ex-colleague. We went to a Japanese restaurant next to MTR Station.
We had a nice lunch time chatting with each other. When we returned to our school, we must cross Kwun Tong Road by climbing up this bridge. My ex-colleague is a smoker. He took out his cigaette and smoked. My friend and I walked faster than him. We suddenly realised that why our ex-cooleague didn't follow us. When we looked back, we found out he was still standing under the bridge. We only realised this bridge is a non-smoking area!!! There is a notice posted, but none of us noticed that.

煤氣賬單Gas Bill

我今日收到好煤氣單，嘩!!! 我居然要交５００元煤氣費!!!! 我心想：我一個人住也用了這麼煤氣，簡直難以置信!!! 然後我再仔細地看，才發現原來我因為沒有按時報錶，所以煤氣公司多計了我的用量．．．從４月的讀數３９８４到它估計６月的４０２５，足足是４１度煤氣，但實際呢？請 看上圖，其實只是３９８８而已．．．正確來說，我兩個月內只用了４度，只是它估計的十分一．但最無奈的還是我沒有辦法拒絕繳費，煤氣公司只會於下期賬單扣 除多繳的金額．我粗略地估計我大約可以少交近２年的煤氣費．GOD!!!!

I have just got a bill from Towngas. Oh!!!! It's totally $500 for these two months.... but I was wondering why. I'm living on my own from March. I shouldn't consume that much.

When I read the bill closely, I found it was over-estimated how much that I have consumed.
It's 10 times over what I really consumed for last two months. I MUST pay the amount shown in the bill this time. Towngas will not refund the amount that I have over-paid. That amount will be used to pay for the next bill. However, I over-paid too much this time. I think I won't need to pay the bill for next 2 years.

這是我今年的生日蛋糕,雖然足足過了整個星期了,但無奈Haagen-Dazs的雪糕蛋糕要訂足兩個星期、算了、這畢許竟是我期待已久的蛋糕(因為是第一次吃Haagen-Dazs的雪糕蛋糕).

Esther、我會留一件給妳的、已切好、並放在冰格內. 嘻嘻!

這雪糕蛋糕的餡料是my favorite的綠茶味!!!! Sales 當問我要甚麼味道的時候、我衝口而出的說"綠茶"、因為我以為蛋糕的口味是standard、完全沒有想到可以選擇自己喜歡的味道.

Haagen-Dazs ice-cream cake!!!

I finally have my birthday cake, although my birthday has been passed for a week already. I really want to have this cake on my birthday. But, as I have mentioned that I had an evening class until 10pm. Therefore, I supposed to have it on the next day, BUT, this cake took at least 2 weeks to prepare. That's why I have this cake SO LATE!!!!!
This is actually a green tea ice cream cake!!!! Yeah~~~ I love green tea very much~~~

Esther, I will leave one "small" piece to you. I have already nicely covered it up and put it into my freezer la.

這是我星期一早上畫的，不過未完成的，這只是背景而已，希望星期五的時候可以完成更多。

今年我自動請纓教Painter這一科，令我再次重拾畫筆（雖然現在用的只是Wacom筆）。

其實家裡還放著中學時期用過的畫具（早陣子大裝修的時候已掉了不少過期的顏料），也沒有推動自己再次畫畫，始終用紙和筆需要的空間較大（不過，當然並不是沒有這樣的空間，因為我已一人獨佔了整間屋），最大的原因還是清潔問題，每次想到要收拾畫完畫的「殘局」真叫人頭痛。

之前，我曾有個想法，不如多讀一個Fine Art的Master Degree吧。原因並不是取其証書，而是希望用「讀書」逼使自己畫畫。始於我從３﹣４歲開始畫畫，不間斷的直至中五（因為當年會考修了Art），之後又停了兩年準備高考。到了大學，我跟朋友一起改畫漫畫，出版同人誌。不過只是一兩年的事而已，大學的功課忙，同人誌的同伴又紛紛入大學，就是這樣，便不知不覺下解散了。如是者，也沒有機會畫畫（其實是懶人的藉口：Ｐ，嘻嘻）。

自從教這一科開始，便希望多利用上課的時間畫畫，因為一邊畫，學生們同時亦可以留意到我的用色、構圖，我想這樣更能提高他們的畫畫技巧，我也可以省卻不少時間。

I am teaching Corel Painter in this semester. Although I wasn't familiar with this software before I taught this course, I insisted to teach it. Why? Of course, I have my reason. If anyone wants to know, please ask me in private. I will tell you then.

I believe this is a good opportunity for me to start drawing again. I love drawing from the bottom of my heart. I learnt drawing when I was 3 or 4. Being an artist was my dream once. How about NOW? I'll prefer to be a renowned animator. I'm still keeping many drawing paraphernalia at my home, but I have already thrown some expired drawing materials away, such as dried watercolors... I still have got an easel. However, it will occupy most of the space in my study room.... I prefer to draw a digital painting because it's CLEAN. I don't need to worry about cleaning up dirty table. That is the major reason that I haven't drawn for a long time. Even I didn't draw for many years, I sketches all the time. I LOVE to sketch during the meeting. HEHE. I shouldn't do that, I know I know.

When I've just completed my Master degree, I was thinking about to take a Fine Art Master course. I think doing assignment is an excellent motivation for me to draw. However, I have to think twice before I take action. Studying a Master degree is really time-consuming, so I need to plan well. I HATE to quit at the middle of the semester.

This drawing is one of my works that I drew in class. I prefer to demonstrate how to use this software by drawing an actual digital painting. The students can also easily see how I apply the colors too.
